I can see why Kaboom is such a polarizing experience. For me it wasn’t really about the destination, but the trip itself and that was immensely fun all the way to the unpredictable end. The amount of beautiful people is staggering though, but I guess that suits the dream-like quality and stylish aesthetics. The soundtrack was brilliant and personally I ended up discovering some gems that I would probably never have heard otherwise. This film, with its vivid and otherworldly style, sexy and trippy scenes, its refreshing honesty accompanied by gorgeous music, likable actors and actresses, ended up casting nothing short of a spell on me.

Martha Marcy May Marlene: possibly the most raw and emotionally affecting film I’ve seen in a long while.
